Law Office

Nektarios Chrissos’s Law Office is situated in the historical center of Heraklion of Crete, at the Four Lions Square (Eleftherios Venizelos Square), at number 15, on the first floor.

It was established in 1999 by Nektarios Chrissos, now a Lawyer of the High Civil, Penal and Administration Courts of Greece.

The Office collaborates with external associates, such as Lawyers, Accountants, Notaries and Judiciary Attendants, aiming at the quick and effective resolution of the cases it undertakes. Our clients come in direct contact with the Office’s lawyer, Nektarios Chrissos. Together they plan and execute the action plan for each individual case, trying to swiftly achieve the best possible results.

Our law office deals with a plethora of cases of Civil, Commercial, Banking and Debt Settlement Law, as well as Real Estate and Land Mapping Law.

The associates of our office have acquired de facto specialization in particular scientific areas and issues on which they are called to give solutions, extra-judicial or judicial.

Civil & Commercial Law

Civil Law is the backbone of Greek legislation and relates to all situations of the interests, conflicting or not, of civilians, i.e. family law, rental and sale law, inheritance law.

Commercial Law is the part of Greek legislation regulating the conflicts of commerce between companies and / or persons, as well as the operation of commercial entities and companies.

Real Estate & Land Mapping Law

Real Estate Law is the part of Greek legislation relating, among others, to issues appearing at immobile property exploitation and contracts, legal issues with the immobile properties themselves and the settlement of disputes between adjacent immobile properties.

Land Mapping Law is a relatively new part of Greek legislation that regulates the Land Mapping procedure of immobile property in Greece and the issues appearing therein. When the land mapping procedure is finalized in a few years’ time, it will be regulating all immobile properties in Greece.

Banking and Debt Settlement

Banking Law and Debt Settlement Legislation are the parts of Greek legislation that regulate the relationship and settling of disputes between Credit Companies and Banks (Creditors) and their debtors (companies or civilians). This part of Greek Law has been emergent since the Financial Crisis of 2010-2020 which still impacts the Greek Economy both on a microeconomic and a macroeconomic scale.

Nektarios Chrissos

Nektarios Chrissos was born in Heraklion in 1975.

He graduated from the Law School of the Democritean University of Thrace in 1997. He is also a Graduate of the Department of Psychology of the School of Social Sciences of the University of Crete.

He handles cases of Civil and Commercial Law, as well as Real Estate and Land Mapping Law. He is also experienced in settling debts to creditors, the Tax Office and Social Security Foundation, by direct negotiation or through the Extrajudicial Mechanism of Debt Settlements (Law 4738/2020).

He is a Lawyer at the Greek Supreme Court.
